Beth Nicely

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Beth would constantly bake for her family and could not wait to finish off any mixes from bowls during the process.   She was one of those kids always caught eating cookies in the pantry.  As a grown-up, she traveled the country with the National Tour of 42nd Street where she met her best friend and fellow dessert lover, Amanda.   She then moved to NYC and performed as a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall. She has been in the Broadway shows Spamalot,Young Frankenstein, and White Christmas. She has also been seen in numerous SNL skits and recently on 30 Rock.  Of course, Beth’s side hobby is trying all of the fabulous places NYC has to offer for dessert.   She also loves to run, sketch, practice Yoga, go for high tea (with Amanda), walk her beagle Monty, and spend time with her husband Adam.   She is very excited to share the many sweets that have made her happy in this glorious city!

Amanda Larsen

Amanda Larsen is from Canton, Ohio. Growing up she always had a love for sweets. Lucky to live near a Dairy Queen, she was able to get her ice cream fix at any time. After graduating High School, she moved to New York City to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Amanda has performed all over the country on three Broadway National Tours (42nd Street, Spamalot, and Young Frankenstein), graced the stage of the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and was the center Rockette at Radio City Music Hall.   She also performed on Broadway in Good VibrationsYoung Frankenstein, and Follies and on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

When Amanda moved to New York, she found a love for food and desserts. With all the delicious specialty restaurants here she was in awe. The Zagat survey was at her bed stand and she read it every night before falling asleep. Since living in New York, it has been her goal to take advantage of all the great places to eat here and to satisfy her sweet tooth! She loves keeping tabs on all the new bakeries and restaurants that open in NYC.
