A quick ride on the L train to Bedford Ave will bring you to the most awesome place in my book right now…Brooklyn Bowl. This is a fierce bowling alley. With live music and a dance floor, plush leather couches in the lanes, and food by the highly acclaimed Blue Ribbon Restaurants, you honestly can’t go wrong. Hanging with some good friends and having a great time bowling (I scored some major strikes!), we enjoyed delicious food. Of course, we ordered dessert and A LOT of it. That’s the great thing about a group of peeps, you can order a bunch of sweets and try ALL of the them! So here we go with a recap…
Above is a Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. OMG. First, hold your breath for what I have to tell you…the homemade bread from Blue Ribbon Bakery is soaked in creme brulee to make this bread pudding!!!!! CRAZY!!! Crazy good I mean;-). Chocolate chips consumed the inside and the warm chocolate sauce with vanilla ice cream were, of course, the perfect compliment. It tasted like a moist and creamy french toast, yet had a chocolate chip cookie dough taste to it as well. We couldn’t get enough of it!

I’ve found the best brownie in NYC!!! I mean, just look at it’s greatness. It’s also the BIGGEST brownie I’ve ever seen. This is “Becca’s Brownie A La Mode.” It was so warm it tasted right out of the oven but it didn’t lack the thick fudgey texture I love. Blue Ribbon does it right with the fudge and vanilla ice cream with their desserts. It just makes everything taste even better. WOW is what I have to say about this gigantic dessert.

Banana Split! Always a classic and this one didn’t disappoint. Vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream with whipped cream, hot fudge, nuts, banana, and of course a cherry on top. Note to all, never change the staple cause it’s always good and makes you feel like a kid:-).

Fresh Berry Sundae….AHHHH. This was refreshing after a lot of chocolate. Strawberry ice cream, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries with whipped cream and fruit sauce. Simple and fruity….delicious.
Go out for a night of bowling, dancing, and food/desserts. Hey, even though these desserts are huge, you can always work it off with some major strikes!!! xoxoBrownie
