Grand Hyatt New York Chocolate Line



Grand Hyatt New York launched it’s very own chocolate line December 4th!  Argentine-born Executive Pastry Chef Gonzalo Jimenez hand makes the chocolates and truffles.  Modeled after Chihuly glass, the truffles reminded me of beautiful marbles.  They are each painted by hand and flavors vary from coffee to dulce de leche to truffle.  They were melt-in-your mouth delicious.  The chocolate just crumbled in my mouth and the inside oozed of creamy sweetness.  The chocolate bars all have ingredients underneath them that enhance the chocolate.  You can purchase these lovelies at the hotel’s Market, an upscale cafe located in the lobby.  Boxes of 9 truffles run $16 and 16 for $28.  The chocolate bars are $11 or $6.  They’re a great gift idea for the holidays or just to treat yourself to something delectable.  They make for a beautfiul surprise to anyone’s holiday.
