Fly Cakes…Let your taste buds soar!

Sweaty Saturday, the special fitness event last Saturday that helped to raise money to fight child obesity, was a huge hit at Body By Simone! We are both trainers at this fabulous boutique gym where you can dance your way into amazing shape! On of our clients, Maria McEvoy, has a bakery called Fly Cakes. She baked up special sugar cookies with royal icing for the event and even made them into BBS leotards and Newton Sneakers shapes! After a cardio dance class at BBS everyone was heading to grab a cookie! Maria’s cookies were buttery, sweet, and delicious! The royal icing hardened perfectly over each shape, showing off all the decorative details. Maria doesn’t just make cookies, she bakes all sorts of desserts from cakes to cupcakes. They are available for local delivery or pick up. It was such a treat to enjoy her sugar cookies after a tough workout on Sweaty Saturday, thank you Maria! Fly Cakes…they’re fly!
