An outing at Rice to Riches!

It’s been awhile since we have enjoyed a bowl of rice pudding at Rice to Riches.  The other night we were in the mood for a late night treat and just so happened to be right in Soho, near the pudding hot spot. After sampling many flavors, we decided to order the Butter Pecan rice pudding topped with buttery graham cracker crumble, vanilla caramel sauce, and whipped cream. The butter pecan rice pudding was rich, sweet, and packed with pecan pieces. Having the crunchy crumble on top was the perfect addition to the smooth pudding. The vanilla caramel sauce comes on the side which is nice because you have the ability to dip each bite or pour over the whole bowl. However, we felt the caramel sauce had an overwhelming burnt taste to it so after a couple bites it stopped dipping. Rice to Riches is exactly that, RICH! We had a hard time finishing the smallest size they offer and we can handle rich desserts! There are at least fifteen different flavors to choose from and a variety of toppings to boot. It is a fun and unique dessert spot in Soho that stays open late for all those dessert lovers like us that like late night sweets!
