Donut & Coffee
I’m a huge fan of coffee and donuts, so my breakfast one morning in Quebec City was the French Canadian version. I mean, you can’t get much better than eating that while sitting outside at a cafe looking at the St. Lawrence river! The donut I had was from Le Petit Cochon Dingue. It was VERY different from American donuts since it was extremely dense and much less sweet. Think thickbutter cake covered in powdered sugar. Sometimes I like a good plain cake donut and this was the case with my breakfast that morning. It was the perfect compliment to my coffee. Superb dunking in my drink was happening and the cake just soaked up the warm beverage. Full and satisfied, I was ready to start my day of site-seeing! Merci beaucoup!
