The French Toast Shot
I had a dessert tasting of shots the other night at The Old School Pub in New Jersey. I’ve tasted dessert shots before, but never as good as these. I sampled the pineapple upside down cake, chocolate covered pretzel, fruit loops, and my favorite the french toast. Luke, the bartender, has personally crafted these shots and prides himself on distinct flavor. I couldn’t believe how each one tasted just like their supposed dessert. The french toast shot could have easily been mistaken for a bite of french toast covered in maple syrup. Beyond the taste, the presentation is even more impressive. It burns and sparkles right before your eyes. Here is Luke’s recipe for The French Toast Shot!
The French Toast Shot
-equal parts Baily’s and Butterscotch Schnapps
-a dash of 100 proof Yukon Jack
**Take a lighter and light each shot to start the fire a blazin’
**Quickly add sprinkles of cinnamon to each shot glass and enjoy sparks of fire right before your eyes
**Cheers and drink up!
