My first order from Uncle Richie’s Cookies!

This past weekend I was in charge of bringing dessert to a bridal shower.  After first sampling some of Uncle Richie’s Cookies (The Cookie Man from Ladder 160) a couple weeks ago, I knew he would be the man for this job.  I ordered his popular peanut butter brownies, sugar cookies, and cream cheese walnut cinnamon cookies.  As soon as I put the boxes in front of everyone there were already “oohs and ahhs” just over the packaging!  Each dozen was wrapped in a beautiful white box with a colorful ribbon tied to a perfect bow.  Everyone was literally going nuts over the peanut butter brownies!  The thick brownie layered with peanut butter was rich, ultra fudgy, and melted in your mouth.  All you really had to chew was the crunchy peanut topping.  We all kept cutting little sections off of each brownie, vowing it would be “the last bite!”  Let’s just say we all had a lot of “last bites!”  I thoroughly enjoyed the sugar cookies as well. Sugar cookies are my favorite type of cookie and Uncle Richie bakes up the softest, chewiest sugar cookie I have ever had. Each one was dusted with sugar crystals as well to enhance the flavor and add a little crunch to each bite.  Last, but not least, was the cream cheese walnut cinnamon cookie.  Rolled into perfection, this cookie is one of Uncle Richie’s oldest and favorite recipe.  If I remember correctly, this cookie was one he learned to bake from his Mom when he was young.  This cookie reminded me of the glorious center bite in a warm cinnamon roll.  The cookie was rolled up tight, layered with cinnamon, sugar, and crushed walnuts all in a soft cream cheese dough!  Heavenly!  Find Uncle Richie on Facebook and order some cookies today!!!  They are sure to be a hit at any event!
