LazyLoo’z
Rakan Ammouri has brought a new dessert to Manhattan. They’re called LazyLoo’z and are a treat made off of the country of Jordan’s classic “Lazy Cake.” It’s a no bake biscuit and chocolate mound of Heaven. The crunchy biscuit (butter cookie to Americans as “biscuit” is a European name for cookie) is like a Walker’s shortbread cookie. The gooey chocolate covers the entire cookie inside and out. Rakan made the Original, Peanut Butter, and Coconut versions for us to taste. These were rich, chewy, stuck-to-the-roof-of-your-mouth delicious. Butter and sweet together is a GREAT combination and fulfills all your taste buds’ cravings. We are not going to lie, we ate all six in the box! They’re best eaten right out of the fridge, but we prefered ours at room temperature. What’s great is that you can eat them either way. Order some for your next party, as a gift, or just to treat yourself. They plan to sell them at a West Village location soon, but check out their website and Facebook page to contact Rakan.
