Grumpy’s
One of the most important things to find when you’re out of town for a while is a great breakfast place. In Dennis, MA, this would be Grumpy’s. After spending many mornings at this place, I finally got their Banana Split Waffle I’d been eyeing on their chalkboard of specials. This was a morning of celebration since it was my three year anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than a party on a waffle! The waffle was the perfect consistency, soft yet crisp. It was covered in fruit, nuts, hot fudge, and a heaping mound of whipped cream. Man, when I poured maple syrup on it and took a bite….HEAVEN. I couldn’t stop eating it! Everything just oosed together and the waffle soaked in the hot fudge, whipped cream, and syrup. YUM! This place definitely did not make me “grumpy.”
