Kenwood’s Berry Cobbler
Off of the Sonoma Highway is this upscale dining spot and home to one of the best berry cobblers I’ve ever had. I know that’s dramatic, but this dessert at Kenwood is just that. With a strawberry, apple, blueberry, and cranberry filling, it hits the perfect sweet and tangy flavor. The cranberry adds the perfect kick in taste with it’s tartness. The pastry dough on top is so thick, it’s almost like a cake. The crusty, oven baked shell just seals the deal. It’s topped with their homemade vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The group I was with ordered three desserts and I couldn’t focus on the other two at all. It was so good, my conversation stopped, and I couldn’t stop eating it! Call ahead and make sure they have it since it was the special dessert of the evening. I highly recommend you stop for a sweet bite on your wine tasting adventures in Sonoma Wine Country. You’ll be in pure bliss.
