Hill Country BBQ…not just for ribs!
Hill Country BBQ bakes up a PB&J cupcake. Yes, please! It’s a vanilla cake filled with raspberry jam and topped with peanut butter buttercream and Reese Pieces candy. Do you see why I ordered it? I immediately cut this cake in half to see the juicy jam filled center. The raspberry filling came oozing out and had moistened the cake around it. It looked delicious! The buttercream was pretty thick and seemed to have crushed peanuts mixed in giving it a contagious crunch. The cake, apart from the part by the jam, was a little dry, but when taking a bite with jam and buttercream you couldn’t notice it. This salty/sweet cupcake really did taste like a gourmet PB&J and I would definitely order it again after some finger licking Hill Country BBQ.
