Silver Moon Bakery
After a calming yoga class I wanted a little treat, and lucky for me, there’s a bakery underneath the studio. There were so many goodies to choose from, but the macarons caught my eye. When they told me one of them was pumpkin, I was sold. I feel the need to havea lot of pumpkin during the holiday season since it’s the only time the flavor is so popular. This macaron was perfectly balanced with the cookie shell and filling. The easy crunch of the cookie mixed with the chewy and creamy center was heaven. I could taste delightful spices along with the pumpkin. No flavor was overpowering, and with each bite, I felt the excitement of the season. I was indulging right outside on the sidewalk before I went in the subway, and I just remember feeling happy and smiling with each bite. I recommend this little cookie to anyone who loves pumpkin and spice. They have many desserts and breads to choose from, so I will definitely be back for more!
