While sampling the sweets at Limelight Marketplace in Chelsea, we came across these well-known brownies by Mari New York. We chose their award winning Caramel Sea Salt and Blonde Bombshell. Perfect “Two Bite” sized, they are great for a small sugar fix during the day. The Caramel Sea Salt was delicious and had that chewy and fudgey consistency we always hope for in a brownie. The caramel was a nice addition to the texture, adding a gooey and sticky sweetness. There was a small hint of sea salt which blended nicely with the sweet. It’s really hard to find a good brownie (believe us, WE HAVE TRIED), and ladies and gentleman, this is a GOOD brownie. We now know why their brownies are famous. The Blonde Bombshell was a nice take on the classic blondie. It’s cake-like texture was a nice change from the chewiness of the brownie. There were evenly spread chocolate chips and the top was crisp from the sugar granules covering it. The sugar was a nice texture addition along with an extra sweet kick in the flavor. Again, a perfect size for a sweet fix. These adorable mini treats would be great for parties, gifts, or just for yourself. They come individually wrapped to keep fresh, so would be great party favors as well! They are sold online and in stores all over the country as well as six places in NYC.
