Shacktoberfest at Shake Shack!
Now through October 10th, Shake Shake is celebrating Shacktoberfest with some new menu items. Included on the menu are Bavarian-Inspired Concretes! Choose from either a German Chocolate or a Cranberry Almond Streusel Concrete. German Chocolate is chocolate custard blended with coconut, toasted walnuts, and caramel and topped with some “Schlog” (whipped cream). The Cranberry Almond Streusel is vanilla custard mixed with cranberry compote and almond streusel and topped with Schlog as well. Hurry before it ends! They’ve also announced their October Custard Calendar. The flavors that interested me were Mondays: Pumpkin Pie and Sundays: Shackenstein. I tried a sample of Shackenstein today in Madison Square Park and it was delish! Lime Green colored custard mixed with chocolate cake and marshmallows. Gear up for some spooky Halloween monsters with this treat!
