A Cookie in a Cake??!!! That’s right, Alice’s Teacup!
After a trip to the dog park this evening, my friend was feeling something sweet from Alice’s (of course I’m always feeling something sweet) and we had to stop in and see the beautiful display of cookbooks! We each took turns holding our dogs (Monty and Kenya) outside while the other went in looking at the desserts/cookbook. My friend came out flabbergasted at the new cake: Cookies and Milk. What does that name mean, do you ask? Well, my friends, it means the entire bottom half of this cake is a chocolate chip cookie!!!! That’s right, and what makes it even better is that my and Amanda’s favorite cake, their Chocolate Cake with Buttercream Frosting, is on top!!!! Think a thick, fresh cookie bottom, chocolate cake layered with vanilla buttercream, covered with chocolate buttercream, and then topped with crumbled chocolate chip cookies. YOU”VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! We stood right outside Alice’s and devoured the entire piece! It was so incredible, we couldn’t even speak. Well, I lied, we got “OH,” “Mmmm,” and “OMG” out of our mouths! The cake was perfect as always, and the thick cookie was fresh and crumbly. The combination was genius and the visual made me want to jump up and down! You see, this is why you need to buy a cookbook from Alice’s Teacup!
