Street Sweets Free Cookies!
As I was walking home on 8th Avenue today, I heard “Free Cookies!” I turn around and there is a girl standing outside The Street Sweets Truck telling people to come get a free cookie! I just posted about them this morning! Well, of course, I stood in line to get a cookie. As I was waiting, I met the nice owner, Grant. He was so charming and very personable. I had a nice chat with him and he told me that in partnering with SAKS 5th Avenue, they are giving away sweet treats all this week. Just look for the black and white truck! I chose their Macarella cookie: A coconut cookie sandwich with Nutella in the middle. I have to say, this cookie was out of this world. It was so fresh that the cookie crumbled so easily as I chewed and the Nutella was still melty. I checked on their website to see if this is usually on their menu, and sure enough it is (I have to be able to get another one!). I poured myself a glass of milk to go with it which was a divine combination. Since they serve all kinds of coffee, I recommend you get a Macarella and coffee to go! You can bet I will be following Street Sweets around NYC! Look for them next with Lord&Taylor! xoxoBrownie
