When the dessert menu came and I saw the Banana Boat Sundae, it didn’t take me long to decide on what to order. The banana split is quite possibly the most American dessert you can get. It’s a classic, it never goes out of style! One banana split in half with three scoops of delicious vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice creams. This boat was then filled with hot fudge, creamy whipped cream, and brownie bites!! The brownie bites are not a typical topping for a banana split sundae, but that’s what made this boat worth sailing in! The whipped cream was different as well, kind of thick and extra creamy in a “can’t get enough” sort of way. Why aren’t I indulging in Banana Boats every day?!? When I took a bite that included all components of the sundae, I felt like cheering and shouting out loud like the crazy JETS fans that were watching the football game! A little banana with the cold ice cream and chewy brownie bite was a touchdown in my mouth!! So if you happen to be in midtown enjoying the Sunday football games why not celebrate it with a Banana Boat! xoxoBlondie
