Lola’s Cupcakes at HARROD’S!!!

I had the hardest time choosing a dessert at the magical world inside Harrod’s. Finally, I came to the realization that I will be back and I’ll just keep getting something different. Harrod’s is AMAZING! Completely overwhelming, but in the best way. Lola’s Cupcakes called my name from afar. With a constant group of people surrounding it’s glass counter, it’s hard to even see what flavors they have. Patience and my sweet tooth reminded me to stay calm, cool, and collected. They have miniature and regular sized cupcakes in flavors such as: Oreo, Coconut, Vanilla, Banana, Chocolate, Rocky Road, and Lemon to name a few! They also serve, what looks to be, a very dense Red Velvet and Carrot Cake. Oh, I’LL BE BACK FOR THEM FOR SURE! So, I chose the mini Oreo and Coconut. Three pounds and some pence later, I left Harrod’s and headed over to Hyde Park to enjoy my treats. I sat down in a lovely chair, opened my box and went straight for the Oreo. Moist, fresh, vanilla cake with Oreo buttercream, topped with a mini cookie! Yum! The buttercream was perfectly portioned for a mini and very creamy! Just then, a chair policeman came by to tell me that I couldn’t sit in my chair unless I pay. How rude! I had the perfect seat with the perfect treat! ”Fine,” I said. So I got up, causing my box with the coconut cupcake to fall on the ground and the cupcake rolled out… top down in the dirt!!!!!! ”NO!!!,” I screamed! Does the 5 second rule apply when there is black dirt dusting the top of beautiful coconut flakes??! I hoped so and attempted to brush it off and eat it! Doom! It was useless, the frosting was destroyed and I only eat cupcakes for their frosting. So, this review doesn’t end to happily, thanks to the chair police in Hyde Park!!! But, I’ll be back to Harrod’s and ready for more!
