After a lovely salad and entree, my table and I decided to try some of this chic restaurant’s desserts.  They don’t have a tangible menu, but the waiter was ready and excited to tell me about their final courses (which is already a plus since the enthusiasm suggests they take pride in their desserts).  The group of us decided to get one of each of their five choices for the table to share.  The plates came out beautifully decorated with chocolate artwork.  First, we had their Chocolate Molten Cake.  OMG OMG OMG.  Ladies and gentlemen, I have found NYC’s best chocolate molten cake thus far.  So soft on the outside, yet the BEST oozing of warm and fudge-like chocolate once you dig in.  Next, was their Homemade Brownie.  WOW.  Again, this is definitely one of the better brownies I’ve had.  It was so thick.  A lot of times brownies tend to be dry and cake-like, but this was just chewy with a crisp outside.  Both of these desserts were served withe a side of their homemade vanilla gelato, which was fresh and, of course, a perfect compliment.  Third, comes the Chocolate Chip Cookie Gelato Sandwich.  OK, so I wasn’t so impressed with this one.  You definitely cannot share it since the cookie was so hard, you had to bite in to it to get a proper taste.  I’m not a fan of crunchy cookies in an ice cream sandwich, but some people are, so this one’s for you.  On the other hand, their Three Bean Vanilla Cheesecake was incredible!  I like how it was served round with the crust on the bottom,  Which, by the way, was the perfect softness.  The cheesecake was so thick and creamy, it made me stop and take in each bite.  Lastly, who can’t enjoy fried donuts with melted chocolate dipping sauce???  You really can’t go wrong when you fry dough.  Not the standout but definitely a delight to my taste buds.  I was so impressed by their attention to freshness and mostly everything being “homemade.”  The waiter informed me that the owners are also the chefs/menu creators.  Great job guys!  xoxoBrownie
