Woodberry Kitchen might be one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to.  I’ve been dying to go here to try the CMP sundae ever since I saw it featured on Food Network’s, “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.”   Walking into Woodberry is like walking into a giant log cabin.  Cathedral like ceilings add a cavernous feel to the already warm, rustic ambiance.  Everything is locally grown and organic, which is why they pride themselves with the motto…”From the farm to the table.”  I didn’t leave room for dessert, but luckily I have a whole other compartment in my stomach for it!  The CMP sundae is definitely their best seller.  It is made with homemade malt ice cream.  Layered between the scoops is hot fudge, wet nuts, and marshmallow sauce.  A hard sugar disc is placed on top to secure the sundae is done!  When the waiter brings you your CMP, it is your job to crack open the sugar disc and DIG IN!  The result is a bite filled with warm fudge, marshmallow fluff adhering onto the spoon, with a crunchy wet nut, and the smooth chill of the malt ice cream.  Oh, and I can’t forget the extreme crack from the broken sugar disc that almost cuts the roof of your mouth!  It sounds to good to be true, right?  Well, it is.  I not only finished mine, but finished my friends as well.  I wasn’t going to let any amount of CMP left uneaten.  xoxoBlondie
