Bierkraft is a really cool beer, cheese, charcuterie, and chocolate shop in Brooklyn that I have been dying to try. Is there a better combination of things to sell in a store? On top of that, Bierkraft makes HUGE gelato sandwiches!!! Today they had dulce de leche gelato with a pecan brownie and peanut butter gelato with a chocolate brownie. As you can tell in the pictures, the gelato was piled high in between the brownies! Although they are pre-made and kept in the freezer, the sandwiches were soft and the brownies extremely chewy!!! Bierkraft uses Il Laboratorio gelato which is a wonderful choice because it is so creamy! Despite being a pb and chocolate fanatic, I actually liked the dulce de leche sandwich better because of the pecan brownie. I could not believe how, even being in the freezer, the brownie remained soft and fresh. The whole sandwich stayed together till the last bite. This also surprised me because usually the gelato pushes out the sides and gets all over the place. This is a must stop if you are in Brooklyn. Grab some good beers, cheese, and definitely a gelato sandwich! xoxoBlondie
