Southern Hospitality is a fun bbq joint owned by the famous Justin Timberlake. I went there tonight for dinner with my family and enjoyed an amazing peach cobbler! I ordered mine a la mode because every cobbler should be served this way. Without it, especially in this case, it would have been too dry. After a gorgeous day enjoying NYC, this was the perfect dessert. It’s reminds everyone of a nice Summer day! Baked in a personal dish, it was good portion for me, but enough to share. It had a buttery, sugar crust that was delightfully crunchy with every bite. The creamy vanilla ice cream melting into the thick crust was heavenly in my mouth. This cobbler was almost cake like. The peaches were not soupy at all, and were mostly in the middle of the bowl. I do think there could have been more peaches, but I really liked this “cakey” version. If you enjoy a cobbler with more fruit then cobbler, this isn’t for you. But, if your favorite part of cobbler is that delicious, crunchy, sugary topping….run to Southern Hospitality.
