Ocean Grill
Believe it or not, I used to hostess at Ocean Grill. Even back in the day, they had amazing desserts. In fact, all BR Guest Restaurants have amazing desserts. Today, I shared this Strawberry Ice Cream Sandwich with my husband. It had all the components of a perfect summer treat: light, refreshing, sweet, and satisfying! The homemade strawberry ice cream is sandwiched between two lemon macaroons. The macaroons were perfect! Hard and crispy outside shell that is soft and chewy on the inside. The lemon flavor complimented the strawberry ice cream just right as if you were drinking strawberry lemonade. I wish the berries in the fruit compote would have been fresh instead of frozen, but it still was a nice sauce. I loved cracking the macaroon with my spoon and scooping up the creamy ice cream.
