After a long and happy day at Disneyland, my gang and I went to Downtown Disney for a Mexican dinner. Most Mexican restaurants have a similar array of desserts, just like this one had listed. Fried ice cream sounded pretty good, so I ordered it. Man, this was the BEST fried ice cream I’ve ever had! It wasn’t hard to dig in to like most, and it wasn’t plain like most. It was soft chocolate chip ice cream covered in crumbled Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, then fried and topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce! I was so impressed by the unique take on the dish! I couldn’t get enough of the taste either. It was definitely a “Diamond in the Rough” as Jafar in Aladdin would say. Well, they are right when they say it’s the happiest place on Earth. For me, that place is where there’s good dessert!
