What could be better than getting to choose any two cookies and any one ice cream flavor to put between them, making your own ice cream sandwich? Well, that would have to be the whole thing costing only $1.50! That’s right, Diddy Riese located in Westwood, caters to the students of nearby UCLA. With lines out the door, this place is in high demand. Their cookies are delicious! They use Dreyer’s Ice Cream, which isn’t too bad either. I chose a Chocolate Chip cookie and a Candy Chocolate Chip cookie with Strawberry Cheescake Chunk ice cream in the middle. Delish! My friend chose two White Chocolte Chip cookies with Cookie Dough ice cream in the middle. They get quite messy, so they’re served in a cup. I ate mine fast, and I could have had another, but my friend let me devour a good chunk of his:-). What a fun, tastey, and cheap treat on a hot and sunny California day!
