I know what you’re thinking, “Why in the world would a steakhouse be getting a dessert review?” This definitely was a shock to me when I ordered a certain dessert there called “Coffee and Donuts.” The name alone sparked my curiosity, but just wait until I tell you what was served to me. This is a brilliant sundae idea. What is brought out to you is a dish of coffee ice cream topped with two miniature chocolate glazed donuts with chocolate icing. The surprise is that it all sits on top of a large chocolate glazed donut at the bottom of the dish. You can choose the option of a topping, and of course, I chose hot fudge. The taste is superb and satisfying. If you are a coffee drinker like myself, the coffee/donut taste with a cool freeze from the “coffee” ice cream is delectable. The amount of ice cream is not skimpy compared to the cake (I hate when there isn’t enough left to finish it all off together). This is a hidden gem, and I highly recommend you try it. Hey, one of their fabulous steak dinners wouldn’t be so bad beforehand either, right?
Vanilla ice cream whipped with Cocoa Rice Krispies and marshmallow, served atop a brownie with a half chocolate dipped Rice Krispy treat!
Their special “Alaska” ice cream-strawberry shortcake mixed in vanilla ice cream! Amazing!
