Down in the West Village, is a restaurant not to be missed, especially by peanut butter lovers. The menu consists of many different sandwiches created with the Peanut Butter and Company’s amazing homemade peanut butter. I could write a whole review on all of these sandwiches because I have tried them all, but I will stick to the desserts. If you want the best peanut butter sundae, come here and order “Death By Peanut Butter.” This dessert starts off with scoops of vanilla ice cream and is then topped with their signature “Smooth Operator” peanut butter, peanut butter Captain Crunch, peanut butter chips, Reeses Pieces candy, peanut butter sauce, and LOTS of whipped cream!!! Every bite is full of nutty deliciousness. They say to share this sundae, but if you like PB as much as I do…share a sandwich and eat the sundae yourself. You won’t want to miss a bite!

The PB&Co also has milkshakes which are great and very creative. My favorite shake is the “Fluffernutter.” It is a peanut butter milkshake that also has marshmallow fluff blended in. What I like best about this shake is that the fluff hardens a little because of the temperature of the ice cream. As you sip your shake you get chewy bites of fluff! It is a wonderful surprise and a little more filling. Definitely a must try!  xoxoAmanda

P.S. I must add to Blondie’s review of PB and Co.  She was the one who introduced me to this Heaven on Earth place. We shared the “Death By Peanut Butter Sundae” and WOW. I have a peanut butter obsession, and this fits the bill for the perfect PB concoction. Surprisingly, I did not feel it was too much. I agree with Amanda that you should share a sandwich and then the sundae. We shared my favorite sandwich, cinnamon raisin swirl, sliced Granny Smith apples, and homemade cream cheese. You can choose white or wheat bread (I like wheat).  The combination is light yet satisfying to your creamy and sweet senses. It is a must! Man I love this place!  xoxoBeth
